Excellent place to take the family for a walk and some fresh air. Great car park, with toilet facilities. Lovely playground for the kids. We often go here at the weekends.
A beautiful place to roam amongst the ancient trees. A different experience each season. Today, it was very much about loud argumentative Jay's and playful Great Spotted Woodpeckers.
Only downside, can be very popular and not all visitors are respectful to the peace & tranquility of this ancient nature (screaming children, parents shouting at screaming children and dogs that want to be heard above the screaming children with shouty parents!)
Get there early, before the families are up!
Lovely woods for dog walking and a play area for the kids when I went everyone loved it beautiful sights it can get muddy and confusing but it is all worth it and some days are free parking
Very muddy this time around. Lots of path options. Lovely seeing so many people out with their dogs and horses. Nice playground by the entrance for the kids as well as a food a drink van.
Lovely, lovely place for a walk! Food stand with tea, coffee, burgers etc and an ice cream van in the warmer weather! Beautiful!
Love walking our dogs here 4/5 times a week. Easy walk clean and safe.
Lovely woods to walk in.
I live near the Belchamps entrance to Hockey Woods and have spent most of my life captivated by these beautiful woods , taking the dogs out and recently I have bought a thermal imaging site to watch the Deer’s come out at night
